This hook is perfect for large trout. I have yet to have one bend out on me, and I have fished these hooks exclusively in the lakes, fishing tippet sizes that would typically cause hooks to bend out. I will by buying again.
I find some flies fit better on short shank with wide gape such as Gran Daddy long legs.
Whether cylinder or extended body they hook has better hook up.
Excellent nymph hooks at a good price. Need to add a selection dry fly hooks down to #22.
I brought 3 packs. I was 10 hooks short, which isn't bad for 3 packs. They hook fish and seem to be strong.
