These are great all-around hooks for a variety of bugs to tie. I had an issue with a couple eyelets were slightly bent. Matt quickly addressed and resolved very fast. I’ve ordered several products from Matt and his company and have had wonderful luck with the hooks. Highly recommend these hooks and also several of the jig hooks offered here.
Definitely order beads here as well too.
This is probably my favorite hook at WFC. I have easily ordered a few thousand of these over the years and they have caught me more fish than I can count. I can only recall one ever bending on me and it was a situation I think would have bent any hook. You can always count on them being strong and sharp
I've been using the hooks from Wholesale Fly Company for a few years now as part of my middle school Aquatic Ecology course. I teach 6th, 7th, & 8th grade students about water quality as it relates to a trout stream and we end the course with a few weeks of fly tying. These hooks hold up well on the vise with students wrenching on them pretty hard. I haven't personally fished with them, but plan on refilling my boxes with them the next time I need a big order of hooks at my own bench.
